Final leg of journey is complete!

The last leg is done. I have crossed the Registan desert to my oasis.

A sweet little gig all around. I have everything I need to live here, including my own shower and washer and dryer. I guess it pays to be in the air force sometimes.
I even have air conditioning.

Its not too hot really, sitting on the tarmac today it was probably about 20 degrees. My helicopter ride on entrance and exit of the bird was a tad hotter going through the exhast wash. My oasis isn't to hot either all things considered.
