Week one done

Well week one of me being my own boss is done. No one to look over my shoulder or keep track of every little thing I do.

It will be a few weeks before the other FF is back. It was only the 2 of us since I got here. He has gone on leave and will be back eventually. He's a good guy to work with.

It's a pretty sweet gig here. The Americans I hang out with just give up the shinys.
I have gotten Oakleys which are issued, I have also gotten a helmet light. I even got an 80GB Ipod a nice Pelican case that I can use for a gun case! I am currently working on getting a pair of their combat pants, they are great for yardwork.

Work related, I am building a set of stairs to get up to the top of my seacans. I had them stacked on top of each other because the Yanks are consolidating us Canadians work areas to one section of the camp. Afterall it is their FOB now, we gave it up to them.
