I got to see my first sandstorm and it was quite something. It came out of nowhere and those mountains in the pictures are all but gone. As a result all fights were cancelled.
You can pretty much taste the sand in the air. Thank goodness my experience was not in Kanadahar Airfield because there along with the dust you get fecal matter to boot! YUM YUM POO!

Hello everyone!! Lyle is doing well. He hasn't had access to the internet so that is why you haven't seen any new post. He is still a little sick (stuffed up nose and a sore throat) but other then that fine.
