Well its only a few more days till I fly outta here. I leave my oasis in the desert to land in the base in KAF. Then go from there to an undisclosed location and then back to Canada on the 7th of December.
I get to spend 18 days, including Christmas at home. Then I fly back to the `stan to celebrate New Years on a completely different continent!
I am all packed and ready to go. I shall do some shopping over before I head home so if anyone can think of anything they might like let me know before I leave and if I can get it, I will.
I have already picked up some nice Afghani scarves. Afghanis rugs run a pretty penny, around $300 yank bucks, but well worth it.
